Let us pray

Holy Ghost, our comforter, Who art equal to the Father and the Son, who sanctifies everything purify your servents hearts. You are the gift of God,the most high, stream of life, fire, love and Anointing of our lives. You are the promise of God the father and the giver of seven gifts. Make us rich with your fruits and gifts. Give us purity in thought, humility in speech and wisdom in our actions. Give us steadfastness in difficulties , faith to remove our doubts , hope when faced with disappointments of life and love to see you in everyone else.

Let there be praise glory and thanksgiving to you ,who who lives with the father, God almighty and his only son Jesus forever and ever Amen.

The Holy Spirit Chaplet

This prayer to the Holy Spirit originated with Pope Leo XIII. In 1895 he exhorted all Catholics to devoutly make this Holy Spirit Novena, suggesting a special formula of prayer: “Send forth your Spirit and renew the world.” With this in mind, in 1896 Blessed Elena Guerra, “the Holy Spirit Apostle of modern times”, composed these invocations to ask the Holy Spirit for the grace of a New Pentecost, which renews the face of the earth.

‘O God, come to my assistance, O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory be to the Father…’

The seven mysteries invoking the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.

1 – L. Come, O Spirit of Wisdom, detach us from earthly things and infuse in us a love and taste of heavenly things. Pause

After each Mystery pray:

“Father, in the Name of Jesus, send forth your Spirit and renew the world.” (x7)

And conclude with:

“O Mary, who by the work of the Holy Spirit, conceived the Savior, pray for us.”

Prayer of Consecration to the Holy Spirit

Before the multitude of heavenly witnesses,
I offer myself, soul and body, to You, eternal Spirit of God.
I adore the brightness of Your purity,
the unerring keeness of Your justice,
and the power of Your love.
You are the strength and light of my soul,
In You I live and move and have my being.
I desire never to grieve You by infidelity to Your grace,

Prayer for the Freedom of the Spirit

Divine Spirit,
Your gifts are diverse.
You call some to give clear witness
to the desire for a heavenly home
and to keep that desire green among
the human family.
You summon others to dedicate themselves
to the earthly service of human beings
and to make ready the material of the celestial realm
by this ministry of theirs.
Grant all of us Your freedom
so that by putting aside love of self
and bringing all earthy resources

O Lord Jesus

Prayer to the Holy Spirit for Unbelievers

Holy Spirit,
on the first Pentecost,
through Your inspiration many were transformed,
becoming adopted children of God
and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
They were animated by the love of God
that is poured into us by You,
Holy Spirit,
Who are given to us.
Enlighten the minds of unbelievers,
incline their wills to accept the Good News,
and prompt them to be obedient

about whom Christ said:
