An Act of Reparation to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament

Pope Pius VII granted an indulgence to everyone who, with contrition for his sins and with devotion, says the following Act of Reparation to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament

Jesus, my God, my Saviour, true God and true Man, with that most profound homage with which the faith itself inspires me, I adore and love Thee with my whole heart, enclosed in the most august Sacrament of the Altar, in reparation for all the acts of irreverence, profanation, and sacrilege, which I may ever have been so unhappy as to have committed, as well as for all such like acts that ever have been done, or which may be done, though God forbid they should be, in ages yet to come. I adore Thee, therefore, my God, not indeed as Thou deservest, nor as much as I am bound to adore, but as far as I am able; and I would that I could adore Thee with all the perfection of which all reasonable persons are capable. Meantime I purpose now and ever to adore Thee, not only for those Catholics who adore Thee not, and love Thee not, but also in the stead of, and for the conversion of all heretics, schismatics, impious atheists, blasphemers, impostors, Mahometans, Jews, and idolaters. Jesus, my God, mayest Thou be ever known, adored, loved, and praised every moment, in the most holy and divine Sacrament. Amen.

I adore Thee every moment, O living Bread of Heaven, Great Sacrament! Jesus, Heart of Mary, I pray Thee send Thy blessing on my soul.

Holiest Jesu! loving Saviour! I give Thee my heart.

Pope Leo XII granted an indulgence to everyone who says the above Ejaculations with contrition, adding the following:

May all know, adore, and praise every moment, always, the most holy and divine Sacrament.

Amen.

The Church’s:

Prayer to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus

Heart of Jesus in the Eucharist, I adore Thee.

Sweet Companion of our exile, I seek Thee.

Holy God become man, I beat with Thy Heart.

Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, solitary, abandoned, humiliated, cursed, despised, outraged,

ignored by men, have mercy on us.

Lover of our hearts, pleading for Thy beloved, patiently waiting for us,

eager to hear our confidences, desirous of our devotion, have mercy on us.

Heart of grace,

silent and wishing to speak, Refuge of the hidden life,

Sharer of the secrets of union with God, Eucharistic Heart of Jesus,

have mercy on us.

Jesus, Victim, I want to comfort Thee. I unite myself with Thee.

I offer myself in union with Thee.

I count myself as nothing before Thee.

I desire to forget myself and think only of Thee, to be forgotten and rejected for love of Thee,

not to be understood, not to be loved, except by Thee. I will hold my peace that I may listen to Thee.

I will forsake myself in order to be lost in Thee. Grant that I may quench Thy thirst for my salvation, Your burning thirst for my sanctification,

and that, being purged, I may give Thee a true and pure love. I no longer want to deny Your expectations.

Take me. I give myself to Thee.

I entrust to You all my actions and thoughts — my mind, that You may enlighten it, my heart, that You may fill it,

my will, that You may establish it,

my soul and body, that You may feed and sustain them. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus,

Whose Blood is the life of my soul, may it no longer be I who live,

but You alone Who lives in me.

Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as given to St. Faustina!

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, of Thy Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,

in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world!

For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world!

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world!

Angel’s Prayer

(Prayer of Reparation to the Most Holy Trinity)

When the “Angel of Peace” appeared to the three children preceding Our Lady’s first appearance to them, he was “holding a Chalice in his hands, with a host above it from which some drops of blood were falling into the Sacred vessel.” The Angel left the chalice and host suspended in the air and prostrated himself upon the ground with the children and prayed the following prayer with them three times:

MOST Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly.

I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world,

in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. And through the infinite merit

of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.

(3 times)

The Angel then rose, and taking the host he gave it to Lucy, and to Jacinta and Francisco he gave the contents of the chalice, saying as he did so: “Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair their crimes and console your God.” Then he prostrated himself once more with the children and repeated the prayer to the Most Holy Trinity three times, before disappearing. Eucharistic Miracle that Occurred at Fatima

The Angel led the children to the Eucharist where they gained a great interior peace and happiness. In Sr. Lucy’s own words:

Impelled by the power of the supernatural that enveloped us, we imitated all that the Angel had done, prostrating ourselves on the ground as he did and repeating the prayers that he said. The force of the presence of God was so intense that it absorbed us and almost completely annihilated us. It seemed to deprive us even of the use of our bodily senses for a considerable length of time. During those days, we performed all our exterior actions as though guided by that same supernatural being who was impelling us thereto. The peace and happiness which we felt were great, but wholly interior, for our souls were completely immersed in God.

Francisco was totally filled with the desire of immersing himself in Eucharistic adoration in order to console God. Knowing that he would soon die, he discontinued school and would pass the entire day in adoration before the ‘hidden Jesus’ in the tabernacle. Fatima – Eucharistic Prayers

Decade Prayer

Our Lady of Fatima asked us to pray the Rosary daily with this (To be said after the Glory Be at the end of each decade of the Rosary)

O MY JESUS, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,

lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are most in need of Thy mercy.

Sacrifice Prayer

Our Lady of Fatima said: “Many souls go to Hell because there are none to sacrifice themselves and to pray for them.” “Sacrifice yourselves for sinners and say many times, especially when you make some sacrifice:

O JESUS, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against

the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”

The Angel of Fatima said: “Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High . . . Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners . . . Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings which the Lord will send you.”

The Chaplet of Adoration and Reparation

Desiring to encourage Eucharistic Adoration, Bishop Peter Jugis granted his imprimatur for this chaplet on Dec. 8, 2004, during the Year of the Eucharist. He is the only bishop in the world to have granted an Imprimatur for the prayers of

the Angel of Peace. In response to the Pope’s call for prayer and fasting, the Chaplet of Reparation and Adoration gained more popularity.

In 2018, the Pope asked all the faithful to pray and fast as a penance for the atrocities of a sex abuse scandals: “I invite the entire holy faithful People of God to a penitential exercise of prayer and fasting, following the Lord’s command. This can awaken our conscience and arouse our solidarity and commitment to a culture of care that says ‘never again’ to every form of abuse.”

“The penitential dimension of fasting and prayer will help us as God’s People to come before the Lord and our wounded brothers and sisters as sinners imploring forgiveness and the grace of shame and conversion.”

“In this way, we can show clearly our calling to be ‘a sign and instrument of communion with God and of the unity of the entire human race’ (Lumen Gentium, 1). If one member suffers, all suffer together with it”, said Saint Paul. By an attitude of prayer and penance, we will become attuned as individuals and as a community to this exhortation, so that we may grow in the gift of compassion, in justice, prevention and reparation.”

Prayers of Reparation to the Holy Face of Jesus

As requested by Our Lord Jesus Christ. These prayers are to be said on Sundays and the Holy Days of Obligation, publicly (if possible), and preferably before the Blessed Sacrament or before the picture of the Holy Face.

Dear Lord, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I (we) offer Thee these prayers in reparation for the sins which offend God the most in these modern times–the sins of BLASPHEMY and the PROFANATION OF SUNDAY and Thy Holy Days of Obligation:

One Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be to The Father

The “Golden Arrow” Prayer

Dictated by Our Lord to Sister Mary of St. Peter

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Amen.

After receiving this prayer, Sister Mary of St. Peter was given a vision in which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by this “Golden Arrow”, as torrents of graces streamed from It far the conversion of sinners.

Litany of the Holy Face in Reparation for Blasphemies and for the Conversion of Blasphemers

This Litany was composed by Sister Mary of St. Peter, and approved by Mgr. Morlot, Archbishop of Tours, in 1847. By a Rescript dated 27th of January 1853, His Holiness Pope Pius IX grants to all who recite, with a contrite heart, these prayers in honour of the Holy Face of Jesus Christ an indulgence of 100 days for each time; applicable to the souls in Purgatory.

Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, hear us.

Christ, graciously hear us. Holy Virgin Mary, pray for us.

(After each of the following phrases, say “have mercy on us”)

O adorable Face, which was adored with profound respect by Mary and Joseph when they saw Thee for the first time, have mercy on us.

O adorable Face, which in the Stable of Bethlehem didst ravish with joy the angels, the shepherds and the Magi,

O adorable Face, which in the Temple didst transpierce with a dart of love the saintly old man Simeon and the prophetess Anna,

O adorable Face, which was bathed in tears in Thy holy infancy,

O adorable Face, which, when Thou didst appear in the Temple at twelve years of age, didst fill with admiration the Doctors of the law,

O adorable Face, white with purity and ruddy with charity,

O adorable Face, more beautiful than the sun, more lovely than the moon, more brilliant than the stars,

O adorable Face, fresher than the roses of spring,

O adorable Face, more precious than gold, silver, and diamonds,

O adorable Face, whose charms are so ravishing, and whose grace is so attractive, O adorable Face, whose every feature is characterized by nobility,

O adorable Face, contemplated by angels,

O adorable Face, sweet delectation of the Saints,

O adorable Face, masterpiece of the Holy Ghost, in which the Eternal Father is well pleased,

O adorable Face, delight of Mary and Joseph,

O adorable Face, ineffable mirror of the Divine perfections,

O adorable Face, whose beauty is always ancient and always new, O adorable Face, which appeasest the wrath of God,

O adorable Face, which makest the devils tremble, O adorable Face, treasure of graces and of blessings,

O adorable Face, exposed in the desert to the inclemencies of the weather,

O adorable Face, scorched with the heat of the sun and bathed with sweat in Thy journeys, O adorable Face, whose expression is all divine,

O adorable Face, whose modesty and sweetness attracted both the just and sinners, O adorable Face, which gavest a holy kiss to the little children, after having blessed them,

O adorable Face, troubled and weeping at the tomb of Lazarus,

O adorable Face, brilliant as the sun, and radiant with glory on the Mountain of Tabor,

O adorable Face, sorrowful at the sight of Jerusalem, and shedding tears on that ungrateful city,

O adorable Face, bowed down to the earth, in the Garden of Olives, and covered with confusion for our sins,

O adorable Face, bathed in a bloody sweat,

O adorable Face, kissed by the traitor Judas,

O adorable Face, whose sanctity and majesty smote the soldiers with fear and cast them to the ground,

O adorable Face, struck by a vile servant, shamefully blindfolded, and profaned by the sacrilegious hands of Thine enemies,

O adorable Face, defiled with spittle, and bruised by innumerable buffets and blows,

O adorable Face, whose Divine look wounded the heart of Peter, with a dart of sorrow and love,

O adorable Face, humbled for us at the tribunals of Jerusalem,

O adorable Face, which didst preserve Thy serenity when Pilate pronounced the fatal sentence,

O adorable Face, covered with sweat and blood, and falling in the mire under the heavy weight of the Cross,

O adorable Face, worthy of all our respect, veneration and worship,

O adorable Face, wiped with a veil by a pious woman on the road to Calvary, O adorable Face, raised on the instrument of most shameful punishment,

O adorable Face, whose brow was covered with Thorns,

O adorable Face, whose eyes were filled with tears of blood,

O adorable Face, into whose mouth was poured gall and vinegar,

O adorable Face, whose hair and beard were plucked out by the executioners, O adorable Face, which was made like to that of a leper,

O adorable Face, whose incomparable beauty was obscured under the dreadful cloud of the sins of the world,

O adorable Face, covered with the sad shades of death,

O adorable Face, washed and anointed by Mary and the holy women and wrapped in a shroud,

O adorable Face, enclosed in the sepulchre,

O adorable Face, all resplendent with glory and beauty on the day of the Resurrection,

O adorable Face, all dazzling with light at the moment of Thy Ascension, O adorable Face, hidden in the Eucharist,

O adorable Face, which will appear at the end of time, in the clouds, with great power and great majesty,

O adorable Face, which wilt cause sinners to tremble,

O adorable Face, which wilt fill the just with joy for all eternity,

Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.

Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord. Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

Prayer to Offer the Holy Face of Jesus to God the Father to Appease His Justice and Draw Mercy Upon Us

Almighty and Eternal Father, since it has pleased Our Divine Saviour to reveal to mankind in modern times the power residing in His Holy Face, we now avail ourselves of this Treasure in our great need. Since our Saviour Himself promised that by offering to Thee His Holy Face disfigured in the Passion we can procure the settlement of all the affairs of our household, and that nothing whatsoever will be refused to us, we now come before Thy throne.

Eternal Father, turn away Your angry gaze from our guilty people whose face has become unsightly in Your eyes. Look instead upon the Face of Thy Beloved Son; for this is the Face of Him in whom You are well pleased. We now offer Thee His Holy Face covered with blood, sweat, dust, spittle and shame, in reparation for the worst crimes of our age, which are atheism, blasphemy, and the desecration of Thy holy days. We thus hope to appease Thine anger justly provoked against us. The All-Merciful Advocate opens His mouth to plead our cause; listen to His cries, behold His tears, O God, and through the merits of His Holy Face hearken to Him when He intercedes for us poor miserable sinners.

Reparation for Insults to the Blessed Virgin Mary

Words of the Prayer from the Raccolta

O Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, look down in mercy from Heaven, where thou art enthroned as Queen, upon me, a miserable sinner, thine unworthy servant. Although I know full well my own unworthiness, yet in order to atone for the offenses that are done to thee by impious and blasphemous tongues, from the depths of my heart I praise and extol thee as the purest, the fairest, the holiest creature of all God’s handiwork. I bless thy Holy name, I praise thine exalted privilege of being truly Mother of God, ever Virgin, conceived without stain of sin, Co-Redemptrix of the human race. I bless the Eternal Father who chose thee in a special way for His daughter; I bless the Word Incarnate who took upon Himself our nature in thy bosom and so made thee His Mother; I bless the Holy Spirit who took thee as His bride. All honour, praise and thanksgiving to the ever-blessed Trinity who predestined thee

and loved thee so exceedingly from all eternity as to exalt thee above all creatures to the most sublime heights. O Virgin, holy and merciful, obtain for all who offend thee the grace of repentance, and graciously accept this poor act of homage from me thy servant, obtaining likewise for me from thy Divine Son the pardon and remission of all my sins. Amen.

An Act of Reparation for Blasphemies Against the Blessed Virgin Mary

Most glorious Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, turn thine eyes in pity upon us, miserable sinners; we are sore afflicted by the many evils that surround us in this life, but especially do we feel our hearts break within us upon hearing the dreadful insults and blasphemies uttered against thee, O Virgin Immaculate. O how these impious sayings offend the infinite Majesty of God and of His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ! How they provoke His indignation and give us cause to fear the terrible effects of His vengeance! Would that the sacrifice of our lives might avail to put an end to such outrages and blasphemies; were it so, how gladly we should make it, for we desire, O most holy Mother, to love thee and to honour thee with all our hearts, since this is the will of God. And just because we love thee, we will do all that is in our power to make thee honoured and loved by all men. In the meantime, do thou, our merciful Mother, the supreme comforter of the afflicted, accept this our act of reparation which we offer thee for ourselves and for all our families, as well as for all who impiously blaspheme thee, not knowing what they say. Do thou obtain for them from Almighty God the grace of conversion, and thus render more manifest and more glorious thy kindness, thy power and thy great mercy. May they join with us in proclaiming thee blessed among women, the Immaculate Virgin and most compassionate Mother of God. Hail Mary (three times) – Raccolta, 1950
