Quid est Veritas? What is Truth? It was the question Pilate asked Jesus. Unfortunately he didn’t get any answer for his question. Looks odd! Why didn’t Jesus answer Pilate? After all Jesus knew what is truth. He himslef declared once. “I am the way, the truth, and the life” ( John 14:6).
Simple fact is that Pilate didn’t deserve a reply. More important, he never cared for a reply as well. Because John writes that after posing this question to Jesus, he went out to the Jews. Pilate was in no mood to wait and listen Jesus. His major concern was to retain his chair and for that he needed to please the Jews.
Pilate miserably failed to recognise the very manifestation of Truth standing before him. Forget Pilate. What about us? Do we recognise the Jesus knocking at our doors? Do we open our doors to him? Are we on our guard so that our hearts are not weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the worries of this life ( Luke 21:34) when he comes?
VCatholic is for those who care for the Word at the cost of the world. For those who are ever ready to listen to Jesus. And for those who are eagerly waiting for the Son of Man.
VCatholic Stand for Truth and Stand by Truth. That is the only commitment we can give you.
In our times truth is often hidden. To get at the truth, we need to open our eyes, be ever vigilant and focussed in our vision.
Lest we may miss the bus and end up somewhere Jesus never wanted to see us.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, in this new year, we, the VCatholic team, rededicate ourselves to the propagation of truth as handed over to us through the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. We are committed to uphold the truth at any cost, because we believe anything in this world is not enough price for an eternal reward.
To preach, disseminate, proclaim and propagate the truth, we need your prayers more than anything else. Please stay with us. We will soon return with articles and news items which every catholic should know.
Wish you an year of abundant blessings.
Yours in Christ,
